Configuring multiple gateways
For high-availability applications or scalability, you can configure multiple gateways. You can then run the Docker container or Java application on multiple servers.
When multiple gateways are configured, load balancing across these instances is handled by your RADIUS client’s load balancing mechanism rather than by PingOne. Your client is responsible for distributing authentication requests among the gateway instances. The gateway instance that receives an authentication request is the same instance that processes and returns the response for that transaction.
You can set up a single PingOne logical gateway with one gateway credential and have multiple physical gateways that share the same credential. If needed, you can remove the credential from the logical gateway to stop all gateway traffic.
