Managing access requests

Create, view, and manage your just-in-time (JIT) access requests in the user portal.

To view your requests, click Access Requests.

The page is organized into three tabs:

Managing pending requests

The Pending tab displays all your submitted requests that are awaiting approval. Filter the list by time or click a request to view its details.

Updating or canceling a pending request

To update or cancel a pending request:

  1. In the PingOne Privilege user console, go to the Pending tab.

  2. Click View Details to open the request to update.

  3. Click Edit Request and make your changes.

Click Cancel Request to cancel a request entirely.

Managing approved requests

The Approved tab lists all requests that have been approved, granting you active access to resources. Click View Details on any entry for more information.

Closing an approved request

Manually end an approved session before its scheduled expiration time:

  1. In the PingOne Privilege user console, go to the Approved tab

  2. Click View Details on the active session you want to end to open it.

  3. Click Close to end the session.

When you close a request, your access to the associated resources is instantly and permanently revoked for that session.

Viewing request history

The History tab provides a complete audit trail of all your past requests, including those that were approved, closed, expired, or canceled. If necessary, filter this view by time and users. Click View Details to review the specifics of any past request.
