Applying extended properties to applications

Apply extended properties to a PingAccess application to configure values unique to that application.

Before you begin

  1. Create a PingAccess application.

  2. Define the extended properties you want to apply to the application.

Steps

  1. In the PingAccess admin console, click Applications, then go to Applications > Applications and click to expand the application you want to configure extended properties on.

  2. Go to the Extended Properties tab and click the Pencil icon.

  3. Click + Add Property and configure the Extended Properties table as follows:

    1. In the Property list, select a property you configured in Managing extended properties.

    2. In the Values field, define a value for the property that’s relevant to this application.

      If the property accepts multiple values, press the enter key after each value.

    3. Click Save.

    4. To add more properties, click + Add Property and repeat step 3 as necessary.

Managing extended properties on applications

Steps

  1. In the PingAccess admin console, click Applications, then go to Applications > Applications and click to expand the application you want to manage extended properties on.

  2. Go to the Extended Properties tab and click the Pencil icon.

  3. To edit an existing entry:

    1. Click the field that you want to edit and make the desired changes.

    2. Click Save.

  4. To delete an existing entry:

    1. Click the Delete icon.

    2. To confirm your changes, click Save.
